EX-GMA3 host Amy Robach has opened up about a scary medical issue she experienced while running in the New York City marathon with her boyfriend, TJ Holmes.
The former Good Morning America stars teamed up for the 26.2-mile marathon in November, but it wasn't an easy feat.

On Thursday's episode of their podcast, Amy & TJ, Amy revealed they had to pause toward the end of the trek when the mom of two fell ill.
"My stomach by mile 22-23, I actually threw up on myself, and I had to go off to the side and finish. I felt awful," the former news anchor told their guest, run streaker Hellah Sidibe.
TJ – who stayed by Amy's side throughout the marathon – attempted to make light of the incident.
"And we were – the two of us, standing there like, 'Hey everybody, get a look!'" he joked about the ordeal.
"My parents were tracking me, and they were like, 'What happened for five minutes?' And I was like, 'Yeah, I might have been vomiting.' We did finish, and it was still my best time ever," Amy, 50, added, boasting about her record ending.
However, TJ, 46, reverted back to her sickness and detailed just how under the weather she felt at the moment.
"This was not a quick little (makes vomiting sound). We were on the side five-plus minutes, maybe even 10 minutes," the ex-TV star recalled, to which Amy admitted that her "stomach seized."
She then commended her boyfriend for staying close and not continuing the race without her, despite her encouragement to do so.
"I was grateful to him. I was like, 'Please keep going.' He's like, 'Obviously, I'm not.' But I would have been totally understanding if he had because, as a runner, you know what it means to have to stop your rhythm," Amy concluded.
RUN TOGETHER, STAY TOGETHER
Photos exclusively obtained by The U.S. Sun showed the couple running alongside each other throughout the challenging course.
They each wore black bottoms, tank tops, sneakers, and race bibs across their stomachs.
Other photos obtained by Splash News captured Amy & TJ wearing orange ponchos after the race while holding up their medals.
The pair had run the New York City marathon together once before, but the November 5 race was their first time since being publicly outed as a couple.
It was just days after the previous year's marathon that news broke of Amy and TJ's reported affair.
As a result, the duo were eventually fired from their co-hosting gigs on GMA3 and have been off-screen since.
WEDDING BELLS?
After months of silence, Amy & TJ have been speaking more about their relationship on their podcast, which launched last month.
TJ shocked listeners on the December 21 episode when he teased that the lovebirds had already tied the knot and were living together.
"Should we just tell everybody? We've got tattoos, we're married, and we live together," he jokingly revealed.
Amy just laughed at TJ's comment, though she didn't clarify further.
Meanwhile, they've also opened up about struggling in their relationship and even underwent a couple's therapy session during another podcast episode.
When their relationship leaked, Amy and TJ were legally married to other people – Amy to Melrose Place actor Andrew Shue, 56, and TJ to the mother of his 10-year-old daughter, Sabine, Marilee Fiebig, 46.
They have both since divorced their spouses, who last month revealed they've been quietly dating for months.
"It turned into something else, and they're connected over their values. It's bigger than the affair now," a source told Page Six about Andrew and Marilee's newfound romance.
"They're not heartbroken and sad," another insider added. "Everyone has moved on."
